Visiting the ERC2026

From 4 to 7 June 2026, the annual European Railway Challenge took place in Bad Schussenried. Alongside the international teams, who presented their miniature locomotives to the judges here in a variety of tests, a delegation of 15 students from TU Berlin was also on site for the first time. As guest visitors, we had the opportunity to experience the requirements and procedures first-hand and to exchange ideas with teams from other European universities of applied sciences, who were happy to explain their exciting and creative solutions to us. With fascinating concepts, plenty of innovative approaches and many new contacts, our anticipation for the 2027 event grew – an event at which we hope to showcase our research findings with our own solutions!
